Description of a Remarkable Place

There are many other parks in the United States with the name “Six Flags,” but I went to the one in Arlington, Texas. I remember that I got to visit the staidum, the baseball field and the amusement parks. When we got to the park, it was 95

My best childhood memory is going to Six Flags. Me, Tommy, Anthony, and Connor are going to Six Flags. Their mom is taking us. I was very excited to go to Six Flags because it would be my first time going. When we finally got there. We parked the car and walked to the gates. When we got into the park. Connor wanted to ride the cyclone. Tommy and Anthony asked if I wanted to ride it. I said, “No.” but they pulled me into doing it. So, we waited in line. When we got to the front of the line. We got on the roller coaster and the ride started. When we started to go up I was nervous. When we got to the top, and as we were going down I couldn’t even hear myself scream. After the ride we rode rides around the park. Then, we went to the water park…

Significant Place is a paper that was designed to show one’s ability to use descriptive and figurative language. This essays main purpose was to let the reader know about a significant place by using descriptions about what you see. In this essay I really focused on showing the reader what the surrounding were and not telling. My significant place was Otto’s Place in Galena. I chose this place because this is where I have spent the last four years working. I know a lot of the place and have been in there so much describing it would be easy. I picked Otto’s Place: A Hidden Gem, as the title because many people who have found it have been so impressed that with their food and atmosphere and wondered how they have never been there before. In…

The smell of buttered popcorn drifts towards you as you trot through the streets of the park. You see the flashing lights and the characters lining the streets shouting, “Hello.” What makes Six Flags Over Georgia different than the great Disney World? Sure, Six Flags over Georgia has roller coasters, water rides, and countless concessions, but what makes it special? Disney World has all of those things, so how is Six Flags over Georgia different? When one thinks of summer, it immediately comes to mind the sight of sandy beaches, amusement parks and hot sunny days. Coney Island, an extravagant vacation playground to visit especially for the summer. I have recently had an opportunity to come to such a wonderful place that the sights are still engraved in my mind. There were other attractions that I have missed out on mainly since I had only one day there. If time was not an issue, I would have definitely visited more programs that they provide. Getting there is also not a problem due to their cheap and handy subway system. One thing to be cautioned about is that it can get extremely busy on the weekends, so the best time to be there would be on the weekdays, especially if you do not want…

Once we got to Six flags we already had our season passes so we headed to the main ride that we wanted to go on, “The Superman.” There was no line there so we headed straight to the first cars. I sat next to Victoria. Paul was behind me and next to Jake. The first drop was 220 feet straight down. On the left side I was right next to the river, on other side Sam was facing the park. For about ten seconds we were all weightless. At the bottom of the drop we were going 75 miles per hour. It was the best roller coaster I have ever been on. We all decided to go on it two more times in a row before we finally decided to go find another ride.…

Six Flags is a theme park that has anything from sweet treats to fun rides. Six Flags provides many things for all ages to do and enjoy. You also can see famous cartoon characters, such as Bugs Bunny, walking around the park. Teenagers and adults who have strong stomachs might enjoy riding the huge roller coasters. For example, The Ninja is one of my favorites. The Ninja is red and black and is very fast and is over in a heartbeat. It goes up and down steep hills and even loops upside down. Six Flags also has water rides available to keep people cool from the warm weather. My favorite is Thunder River. Last summer, I was lucky enough to get caught under the waterfall, which is just my luck. Six Flags also has games to play and many souvenir shops. The games are loud and have huge stuffed animals as a prize for winning. As for the sweets I mentioned, the funnel cakes are absolutely delicious, they are cooked to perfection and are topped with powdered sugar. I would recommend Six Flags as a place to go when visiting Atlanta for family fun and a great bonding time to hang out with friends.…

The top priority class included the SFTP Revolver and Term Loan; the second priority class included the SFO Notes; and the third priority class included the SFI 2010, 2013, 2014, and converible notes; The lowest priority was the PIERS preffered equity followed by common equity.…

When we think Disneyland, we think the happiest place on earth. For those who think this is an exaggeration, let me shed some light on why this place is magical for me. Disneyland to me means family traditions with a heart full of happiness and love. When you first enter Disneyland, you are overcome with a vast amount of emotions. I get a nervous feeling deep inside my gut. The excitement overwhelms me, knowing that in just a few small steps, I will see the castle at the end of Main Street. The smell of churros are in the air. The crowds are filled with children and parents. You can hear children’s laughter and excitement. And if you look closely, you can see Mickey and friends in the corner signing autographs and taking pictures. I close my…
