I felt good to be able to provide continuous, comprehensive care through disease management, health promotion, health education, and preventative health services in the clinical. As a clinician, I have been treating the family as a whole for better outcomes and involving them in any necessary decision-making process. I have also learned that verbal and nonverbal communication is crucial.
Furthermore, a patient’s evaluation of a clinician’s trustworthiness influences the patient’s willingness to disclose psychosocial or other barriers to treatment effectiveness, and his or her expectations of treatment efficacy and motivation to adhere to the treatment. I have grown professionally through the clinical and my ability to critically think is evolving every day. In addition, with experience and confidence, I have learned to critically think as I collect, analyze, and synthesize, evidence based patient information to provide positive patient outcomes.
