BackgroundDell Global Analytics (DGA) is a captive KPO (Knowledge Process Outsourcer) supporting multiple functions such as Pricing, Web , Supply Chain, Marketing, Quality, Services, Financial Services and Contact Center Analytics. Over the last five years DGA has successfully established itself as a highly valued business partner across these functions. It is a single, centralized entity with a global view of Dell’s business activities spanning four Strategic Business Units (SBUs): Consumer, Large Enterprise, Public and Small & Medium Business. DGA supports all the three geographies: Americas, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) and APJ (Asia Pacific). DGA supports over 500 internal partners that span all functions/geographies at Dell and provides unique insights into the overall working of the company. Practice Description Dell is one of the largest computer manufacturers in the world. In order to achieve its business goals we at DGA, partner and drive strategy at different stages: •It starts with marketing function where we study customer attributes, their purchase patterns and make most appropriate offer through various campaigns. Data driven marketing strategy helps drive customer acquisition as well as deepen our relationship with existing customers •The pricing team ensures that we customize configurations with the customers need and provide these products at the most competitive price. Pricing decisions are driven using demand-supply elasticity studies, competition, and economic factors. •Dell also offers attractive financing options to assist credit needy customers to complete their purchase.
