Heroes should not be like everybody else and they shouldn’t always worry about what others think. This helps define a hero because if they change themself for other people, they aren’t unique. An example of this particular quality of a hero could be Ed Sheeran. According to capitalfm.com, when Ed Sheeran was younger, he was bullied. He …show more content…
A hero should put others before themselves. This should be a quality that a hero should have because it shows that they truly care about others and want to help others. A hero is not selfish and conceited. If a person is selfish and conceited, it makes them look like they only care about themselves, which is not a quality that a hero should have. Jeremy Gautney could be a person that shows what selflessness looks like. Jeremy Gautney is a deputy for Lincoln County and, according to Daily News, was shocked when he saw a 2-year-old boy suddenly appear in the middle of Highway 101. The boy was running down the road after he snuck out of an open door at the community center. Then, without thinking of the consequences, Jeremy saved the little boy just as a semi truck drove past. I think that this man should be considered a hero because if he wasn’t driving on the highway at the exact time that the little boy was there, the child could have died. Not only should a hero be selfless, they should also be

Heroes are brave. They put their life on the line to save others. An example of this happened on December 3 when state trooper Michael J. Miles saved an unnamed 3 year old boy from his abductor, Michael Ramirez, who had taken him from his home. After Ramirez escaped the police's tail on him, he ran into the North Carolina forest where “Miles used his knowledge of the area to… approach him on foot” (Hero Trooper Saves 3 Year Old After Amber Alert 1). That is bravery. He put his fears aside so he could save a little boy because he knew that by the time people would come to help it could be too late. Without Miles’ bravery, that little boy might not be alive. Bravery, however, is not the only important quality of a hero.…

Otherwise you are making their destiny not brighter but darker” (C.S. Lewis). We need heroes to stand out and help when needed or called to action. Heroes should be people that all cultures/people all over the world can look up to and have a good example no matter how bad their life is. A hero puts others before himself, loves to give back and not take, and one who stands out and sets a good example.…
