Death Penalty Research Paper
Robert Lee Willie died Dec 28, 1984 on death row for killing 18 year old Faith Hathaway. Faith Hathaway was murdered May 28, 1980. On the day of her murder she was leaving a party, when Robert and his partner Joseph J. Vacarro (murderpedia) kidnapped and raped her in their car. When they finished they took her out into the woods and stabbed her 17 times (wikipedia) killing her in a very brutal way. Her body was dumped in a lake along Highway 25. Cases like these are a reason why we have the death penalty and I think all states should put it in effect. When discussing the topic of the death penalty there are two sides, those for it and those against it. Those for the death penalty state that deterrence is keeping criminals from committing
