To educate my audience about how Macklemore uses his music, resources and creativity to have an impact on racial and social justice issues.
A. Attention Getter My audience analysis states that 66% of this class is familiar with Macklemore’s music. And According to WorldPress.com Macklemore blew up when he released his first catchy song “Thrift Shop” 2012. After his debut, Macklemore dropped numerous songs that took a political, controversial stand.
B. Relevance why it’s important
Macklemore’s lyrics put words to the extensive variety of feelings individuals feel regularly. Some go further to talk about the social issues going ahead in America, or even the world over.
C. Credibility
Based on my research I am credible to talk about these elements.
D. Thesis Statement
Many artists today get their inspiration for their music from the culture they live in. Macklemore choses to create a …show more content…
III Conclusion: Macklemore and his inspiring lyrics, and his dedication to rap about equality are all things that have in my opinion influenced and help spark activism. He inspires public conversation about social and racial issues and it’s the most accurate musical reflection on what is going on in America today.
