Dave Hughes: Deadpan Comedy Or Dry Humor
Dave Hughes is a stand up Australian comedian and a radio and television presenter. He is known for being co-host of ‘Before The Game’ until it ended in 2013. He is also known for his unusually funny personality and dry humour or also known as, deadpan comedic delivery.
Deadpan comedy is common form of comedy that involves humour presented without change of emotion or body language. This contrasts with the ridiculous subject to form deadpan comedy or dry humour
Dave Hughes was born on the 26th of November 1970. After graduating from the all-boys Christian Brothers College in Warrnambool he briefly studied at Swinburne University then at Deakin University before he decided to drop out and follow a career involving comedy. He moved to Perth,
