Dave Chappelle is one of the most popular comedians of recent years. Dave was born in 1973 in Washington D.C. He has done a lot of work in movies and television. His most famous work has been his TV show on Comedy Central, The Chappelle show. He has done two complete seasons, and the show has become very popular. He has also been in many movies. His most popular movie was "Half Baked" which came out in 1998. He played a janitor working in a scientific research lab who began stealing the marijuana being used for testing and taking it home to smoke with his 3 pothead roommates. Another popular movie he made an appearance in was "Robin Hood: Men in Tights" he played the Character Ahchoo.

In the first episode of the second season of The Chappelle Show. Dave showed a skit called the racial draft. Before they show the skit Dave gives a precursor. Dave Chappelle is a skinny black man, in this episode he has a mustache and a small goatee. Dave stands in front of the audience to speak about the upcoming skit. He is wearing a black track jacket with blue and red fabric under the arm along the rib cage extending to the pockets. Dave starts by saying how a great thing about America is everyone is mixed up everyone has a little bit of something different in them, genetically. He describes how him and his Asian wife argue which part of Tiger Woods, who is half black and half Taiwanese, is hitting the golf ball. And the same with Derek Jeter who is half white and half black.

Dave says there needs to be a racial draft to settle these arguments so that anyone mixed racially with be clearly defined as one or the other. The skit starts with 3 commentators speaking about the upcoming draft. Dave plays one of the reporters and the two others are white. All the reporters are wearing suits and are sitting at a desk above the crowd and stage where the representatives from the races sit.
