Dating Rules Research Paper
My Dating Rules Soccer is a confusing game with a lot going on. In soccer there are certain rules to keep the players safe and to keep them from doing something stupid. These rules make the game more enjoyable and comely to watch. These rules make teammates work together. It is cool to see the relationships that teammates form when playing soccer. Relationship rules are different for different households. In my house I will have specific dating rules for my children. The first dating rule I would have for my kids is no online dating. There is no way to know if somebody is real. There are lots of people pretending to be other people online. If one person found another person online and they made plans to meet in real life, one of the people might be pretending to be another person. That could put the other person in a lot of danger. If somebody lived far away from the person they were dating, that couple would not be able to be with each other. An online relationship just does not have the same effect as one in real life. …show more content…
When kids are younger than 15 they do not really know what dating is. They would not know what to do and they might do something stupid without thinking. If eye go on group dates then they will be smarter. They will have more to do and there will be less of a chance of them doing something stupid. Dating rules are different for different families and I am confident in the ones I have created for mine. There is to be no online dating in my house as it does not make sense. It is very important to me that I meet the person my child is dating. My children will not go on alone dates until 15 years old because they do not know how dating works until about 15. Dating rules differ from house to house depending on the parents' views on relationships. Relationships can be seen everywhere, whether it is at the zoo or on the soccer

In the essay “Digital Dating: Desperation or Necessity?” author Christine Hassler addresses the stigma held by the younger generation about the use of online dating. Hassler argues that in this age most communications are ruled by technology. Though Hassler cautions to be smart while dating online she believes one should be open to the possibilities it may bring. Online dating allows you to get to know a person without superficial judgments to get in the way. In closing she warns, “be who you are on and off line.”…
