RESEARCH ANALYSIS
LIST OF STATISTICAL TECHNIQUES
There are various sampling techniques available for market research, but we selected the following for our analysis:
1. Chi-square – It is useful in analysing cross tabulations of the survey data. Since it can tell us whether there is a statistical difference between the segments in how they answered the question
2. Correlation – It can show whether and how strongly pairs of variables are related; mostly used with rating scales.
3. Cross Tabs – It compares specific demographics (such as gender, or height) to other specific information (such as the people’s favourite color).
4. Graphs – Graphs and charts condense large amounts of information into easy-to-understand formats that clearly and effectively communicate important points.
PURPOSE OF USING THE STATISTICAL TECHNIQUES
1. Graphs – The main purpose behind using graphs are as follows:
To analyze and interpret data.
To be able to represent the data clearly. Using graphs you can easily find out important facts about the data you have collected and use what you know to improve or change something.
After selecting the data, decide whether variable should be expressed as

1.3 Text and diagrams can be used to explain data more thoroughly or can be used to get a point across in a more concise way. Diagrams may be used to make your data more appealing to the audience they are intended for. To give an additional visual representation to your text could perhaps iterate it more clearly, or could perhaps add an impact that text alone can not offer. This can also be used to highlight key points in the data, or for showing any trends or patterns.…

There are many different ways to describe the data we collect and all are important when conducting business. The mean of a data set is the sum divided by the # of observations. Now saying exactly what a mean is can be helpful, applying it to the business world makes understanding it a lot easier. Mean can be used in a business environment by both tax offices and retailers when collecting income from a group of people; in this case both groups are interested in the total amount of money that happens to be available. Companies can determine the mean salary for their business to know the average amount they are paying employees (some employees may make more or less than the mean).…

Even an appropriate chart type is selected, issues such as scaling, suitable titles and legend types must be considered carefully to ensure effective communication of the data so that it can be interpreted to aid decision making. Data is usually presented in digital table form, sometimes printed out only from the spreadsheet. While this presentation style provides detailed figures, it is not the efficient way to provide and disseminate information. It may be emphasizing some key information, or to emphasize the relationship between certain data or to identify trends. Appropriately presenting data in the form of graphs or graphs can be a useful analysis tool and this can facilitate the decision-making process if the data is effectively interpreted. It allows the user to create charts or graphs that look very professional and let decision makers review data…

Graphs are widely-used structure in computer science and different computer applications. We don't say data structurehere and see the difference. Graphs mean to store and analyze metadata, the connections, which present in data. For instance, consider cities in your country. Road network, which connects them, can be represented as a graph and then analyzed. We can examine, if one city can be reached from another one or find the shortest route between two cities.…
