While we were getting the x-rays taken and then sending them to the computer in the exam room, Dr. Kealoha had explained to Mr. Zoric his two main options but stressed that surgery would be the best option. Mr. Zoric stepped out of the room and called his wife so they could discuss the options and which would work best for the darling Nela. Mr. and Mrs. Zoric eventually decided that surgery would be the best option. We then took Nela back to the treatment room where she was put under anesthesia. Dashkova was born to an aristocratic family in St. Petersburg in 1744. Her mother passed away when she was only two years old. Her uncle, the Grand Chancellor, adopted her into his family when she turned four. In her memoir, Dashkova shared her unpleasant upbringing in her uncle’s household: “sharing the same room, the same masters, even dresses cut from the same cloth” with her cousin, Countess Stroganova. According to Dashkova, her “uncle had no time and her aunt had neither the ability nor the inclination” to impose knowledge or compassion in her heart and mind at all (pg. 32). Dashkova also shared that, as a kid, she craved attention and was often left feeling lonely. All these misfortunes along with her determination to overcome her gender role stereotypes motivated her to achieve the accomplishments she made in her lifetime.…

Anton Chekhov is a realist writer and through this work tries to disprove a romance by using Dmitri and Anna as an example. The most common procedure is the vacuum aspiration involving anaesthesia. The cervix is gently dilated, which may cause a sensation similar to menstrual cramping, a narrow tube is inserted through the vagina and cervix to the uterus so then pregnancy and contents of the uterine internal lining are vacuumed out. The risks involved with this are side effects including nausea, cramping, sweating and feeling faint. Rare side effects are heavy or prolong bleeding, blood clots, damage to the cervix and perforation of the uterus. Infections can occur due to remaining tissue or due to an STD or bacteria that has been introduced into the uterus, these can cause fever, pain, abdominal tenderness and potential scar tissue. Dilation and extraction is another surgical procedure. This involves a luminaria to be inserted vaginally to dilate the cervix two days before the procedure. This causes the water to break on the third day. The fetus is rotated and forceps are used to grasp and pull the legs, shoulders and arms through the birth canal. A small incision is made at the base of the skull to allow a suction catheter inside. The catheter removes the cerebral material until the skull collapses. The fetus is then completely removed. The side effects are the same as dilation and evacuation. However, there is an increased chance of emotional problems from the reality of more advanced fatal…
