Dairy Science Personal Statement
I will be majoring in dairy science and minoring in agriculture business. I am interested in being involved with the dairy club while attending college. I will be working at the college's dairy as a milker with the goal of one day becoming a student manager at the dairy. I intend to participate in showmanship competitions and fitting challenges during the Little International. I desire to participate in the Collegiate Future Farmers of America club. I plan to live in the Agricultural and Biological Science Living Learning Community. While living in the LLC I look forward to being involved with different study groups. After I have received my degree in dairy science I would like to become a herdsman on a dairy farm. My goal is to one day operate

    I am a graduate from Glen Oaks Community College and I would love to continue my education with Glen Oaks and their Nursing Program. I am a very athletic person, therefore in my free time my activities include running, playing sports, coaching and being involved with my family.     Education is the most important quality to success. With education you can expand your knowledge and allow yourself to move forward and higher up in the socioeconomic system. Since I was a young girl I have always aspired to help others, in any way, shape or form. Being helpful and meaningful to others is something that I am very passionate about. To ensure that I follow through with my success and aspirations, I have decided that I will study Nursing at a four year university. After I obtain my Bachelors of Science in Nursing, I would like to go to UC San Diego and work on getting my Masters in a specialization program that would allow me to specialize in lactation.
