Dad's Sixth Sense Commercial Analysis
The dad's sixth sense commercial was aired during the first quarter of the 2014 Super Bowl. A father's power to keep his child secure from any danger gets the Super Bowl's audience in an emotional uproar during the super cute commercial for Hyundai. Knowing that fathers watch the super bowl with their sons, Hyundai created a commercial that convinces the audience to purchase the all new 2015 Hyundai Genesis because the car is just as protective as a father.

The “Dad's Sixth Sense” commercial starts off with a small little boy who comes running around the corner, trips, and almost hits his head on a flower bed made of bricks. Luckily, a man is standing by, reading what looks to be the mail, so as soon as he saw this young child, he quickly drops his mail and snaches the child up. Now, one may wonder why this song by Bruno Mars is so important in this situation. This song is supportive to this commercial, because it fits in all of the mishaps happening to the son, and the father does exactly what the song says. "Count On Me" is a completely addictive, catchy, and a well-known tune. I find myself singing "you can count on me like one, two, three and I'll be there" each and every time the commercial plays. Listening to this song play in the background of the commercial makes me feel emotionally attached to the son and his father.
