Da Vinci's Accomplishments

In Da Vinci’s notebook, it showed many sketches of his ideas. Some of his inventions were scissors, parachutes, and the flying machine. Although some say that da Vinci’s creation was not built until the 1940’s (the flying machine), which is not entirely the true (Inventor Ahead of his Time 1), his fascination with the flight of birds led him to start building the aircraft. At first, he thought that the lifting of the bird was by its wings, but that was only the thrust. His concepts of how machines lifted changed when he started to understand more after studying birds.
