There is nothing that strikes fear into the hearts of trucking company owners and managers than an impending DOT audit. They're nerve-wracking events, especially when you're unprepared, but it doesn't have to be that way. Trucking firms that hire DOT compliance companies are actually relaxed about audits. Why?
