“Supermarket chain Tesco has reported underlying annual pre-tax profits of £3.13bn, an improvement of 10% on the previous year.”
Tesco’s main aim which was to maximize their profits which would mean that in order to do that they have to increase their sales. Because Tesco have made more profit throughout the year, this proves that they have increased their production for their sales. This objective has been achieved. Tesco achieved £3bn in the last year. They made 10% profit which is exactly what they wanted. This shows that the objectives that Tesco had set themselves have been achieved. Evidence for this is on BBC News.
Also another objective that Tesco set them was to become UK’s largest retailers. This objective has also been achieved.
