Cyber Bullying
Black letters flash across the screen, launching an attack of rumors and insults. A text, a Facebook wall post, a Tweet is all it takes to wound someone's feelings, to bring tears, and to ruin a friendship. With the explosion of modern technology, old-school bullying is out and a new type of bullying is taking the stage. But this bullying is not just like stuffing someone in a locker or putting their heads in the toilet with no wounds/bruises or bloody noses as evidence of abuse, cyber-bullying often doesn't attract the attention of elderly until it's too late. Cyber-bullying is the usage of internet and mobile gadgets such as web pages and discussion groups as well as instant messaging or SMS text messaging with the intention of harming another person. Websites like Twitter and “Facebook” are the common ways of cyber-bullying. It is being cruel to others by sending or posting harmful material using a cell phone or the internet that can be a way of humiliating people, teasing them and offending them. It can be done by individual, pair or even by group and sometimes they even impersonating someone and ruining their reputation and stuff. It can also be done by sending or posting cruel rumors and falsehoods to damage reputation and friendships. In some serious cases the one who are humiliated in the internet are forced to suicide because of too much embarrassment and stuffs. And others feel that when it comes to cyber-bullying, it simply takes a click of the mouse to hurt or to damaged someone’s reputation that could lead them to being emotional and to removed their focus in life For me the cyber-bullying could be stop by putting the responsibilities of the bullying of their child to the parent because if the parents raised their child correctly then it wouldn’t be like this.
