The way people live their daily lives depends on the type of culture. Different cultures can affect ways of worship and beliefs. Religion is one of the six major influences of culture. In our culture, Christianity in America dominates Religion. The church I attend is greatly influenced by culture. My church compares to a business in many ways because we budget and see how wisely we can spend our money without having debt. Salaries are giving to those such as the pastor, choir instructor, mission leaders, and accountants. Most of the time these people do not get as much money as they deserve, especially with the amount of time put into their jobs. This is much different from the capitalist economy of American because we can only budget so much. Salaries may be cut as a result of staying out of debt. It’s not about you; it’s about the church. We are also a service business. We provide jobs for important leaders to make the church better, provide money for people who financially need help for abroad mission trips, give food, water, pregnant families, shelter to the homeless, and give kids an education. My church is very involved with family. Being a strong family is being a strong believer in Christ. Most people know everyone by his or her first and last names and hangout outside of the church. Interactions within the church happen upon a daily basis, when you enter the door and when you leave the door you are greeted. Everyone is treated the same no matter what the case. As a church family we take exactly what my pastor says and apply that to family life outside of the church to make it stronger. The church is a getaway place for families to liberate. We hold ourselves to be accountable and follow Gods Commandments. A great example of how government is represented in my church is our American flag hanging next to our cross.
