Cuffee Ap Reflection
I spoke with Cuffee about your class and I thank you for your concern about him. I will be checking on him periodically, and monitoring his progress by checking in with you. However, at this moment in time, we cannot adjust his schedule because that would be removing him from his least restrictive environment because History Co-Lab is not listed as one of his special education services. I suggest that we give him a trial run, maybe until the first unit test or maybe the first interim which is October 4th, and we can see how he is doing, and should we need to schedule a meeting to make this change necessary then we can do that. I will also check in with his parents and let them know your concerns, and maybe they can step in as reinforcement.

I appreciate the time that you took in emailing me to inform me you were my son Shay's principal. I left a voice message and sent an email to you on 5/16/2016, also I did try contacting again on 5/17/2016. Do to not being able to make contact with you yet I decided sending an email explaining the importance of needing to speak with you. Shay has been recommended for retention which I disagree with the recommendation. Therefore, speaking with I believe we will be able to find the best solution for this matter. Holding Shay back is not helping him but apunishment. Shay is entitled to a free appropriate public education, therefore if Shay is that far behind I would believe his IEP is not working and it's time to update and amend it.…

Tom’s behavior often disrupts class. Yesterday he threw a dictionary across the room, knocked over his desk, kicked it, and began yelling obscenities at the teacher and the other students in the class (LD resource room). The teacher had to call for help from his ED resource room teacher to calm him down and safely remove him from the classroom.…

I often see him bullying his friends, pushing them break, hitting them whenever he likes and also annoying them by singing loudly in class. He is quite sensitive when someone scolds him, but he never cries. He communicates well with other students and teachers. Moreover, he enjoys Physical Education (PE) and Dance most, as he gets to be more active and he works finely in group activities. He seems to hate English and this is maybe due to the way Ms K delivers her lessons which may not be able to conducive to his kinaesthetic learning style. The majority of the students in 2C class also seem to have a kinaesthetic style. According to David Glen “Almost certainly, you were told that your instruction should match your students learning styles…Now four psychologists argue that you were told wrong. There is no strong scientific evidence to support the “matching” idea…”…

Olaudah Equiano’s life as a slave was different compared to the other slave stories we have known. His experiences as a slave were actually pretty amazing. Some of his masters treated him as part of their family which was rarely to happen for a slave. In addition, he was able to go around and explore the world; but that's not it, he even purchased his own freedom. One of the bad things that I considered really changed his life was when he and his sister was abducted to sell and later on got separated from one another. This could highly affect a person’s different aspect of his or her life especially when they're close to whoever they got separated from. Equiano used that separation with his sister to keep on traveling farther from home rather…

While I do not follow a certain religion, I do consider myself to be spiritual. In this position I see my beliefs fitting into the dialogue and community. I am hoping to connect with others and learn from their perspectives and beliefs while also being able to connect with my beliefs. After my spring break service trip, I realized that shared service and reflection really is a unique experience that can foster positive changes and development in a person’s beliefs, views, and actions. Having an open safe environment and sense of community with each other is what made my service trip so memorable and I would try my absolute best to bring tha into my DCSA position.…

I enjoyed taking BTE210 this semester; I feel I learned a lot of valuable information that will be useful to me in my future in the workplace. Learning about software was a topic that I was very interested in because I had never considered how vital and necessary it is to my everyday routine. The computer hardware is generally of no use without operating system and application software running it. Computers are only as smart as the programs running them. Both system software and application software are very distinct and important. The software system includes system management program, system support program, system development program. The application software includes general purpose applications and application specific programs. Now knowing…
