Have you ever played football? Did you like it? Well, football is dangerous sport. Football is dangerous enough that you have to even quit football. Kids should not be able to play football, because football causes a lot of concussions, and concussion is a serious problem. Football players get serious injuries such as broken elbows. Also, there is CTE, which is a dangerous brain disease.

First, football causes lots of CTE. Basically, CTE is Chronic traumatic encephalopathy, and it is type of brain disease. CTE is common to football players. This is a very intense problem because it might change football player’s whole life. Basically, bone injuries are not that big deal between CTE and concussion, but it’s still serious because athlete players might can’t play games like football anymore because of those injuries. Football players often get sprained ankle injuries. According to sports medicine information, it says "The ankle is particularly vulnerable in football due to the fast-paced nature of the game, the actions of twisting and turning and the possibility of poorly-timed tackles; consequently, ankle sprains are common amongst footballers. Ankle sprains occur when the ligaments surrounding the joint are damaged or stretched further than their limit." This shows what move of the football players are the problems. According to american orthopaedic, it says “This usually occurs due to an inversion injury, which means the foot rolls underneath the ankle or leg. It commonly occurs during sports. Patients will complain of pain on the outside of their ankle and various degrees of swelling and bleeding under the skin.” This proves how dangerous is sprained ankle and how much pain people get. Also, Football causes the Groin Strain injuries. Basically, concussion is a brain injury. It is a serious problem because football players might lose their memories. Literally half of the whole football players have concussions How dangerous are concussion is that people don’t know what they’re doing, or where they are, why did they go to some place. This problem is usual to football players. Concussion happens repeatedly, which is more dangerous. According to Wikipedia, it quotes, "In the 2010 season for the Canadian Football League, there have been 50 reported concussions; 44.8 percent of players reported having a concussion or concussion-like symptoms, 16.9 percent had confirmed that they had a concussion, and 69.6 percent of all players who suffered from concussions that year suffered from more than one." (Wikipedia) This proves that almost all of the football players get concussions.
