If I were Jane Barrow, I would suggest shale gas as the best. Since the industrial, electric power and residential make a large contribution for the use of natural gas, the stakeholder in these parts are very important. After multiattribute risk analysis, the chart from Exhibit 10 shows they are care about using energy produced in their own jurisdiction. From the Exhibit 3, with the increasing need of natural gas to satisfy consumption, more and more net imports have been done. Shale gas has the largest production capacity per day which is suitable for these stakeholders’ objective. This feature will satisfy most of the stakeholders. Although the project is the most expensive one, its huge production makes the profit the largest among these three. So after comparing these projects, I would make the recommendation for shale gas project.…

Notwithstanding the significance to organizations of external reactions to bad behavior, the corporate social responsibility literature tends to focus on the meaning of and expectations for responsible behavior, rather than on the meaning of irresponsible behavior. Here we develop a theoretical perspective that explicitly focuses on irresponsibility and that particularly helps explain attributions of social irresponsibility in the minds of the firm’s observers. In contrast to approaches in the corporate social responsibility literature that tend to deemphasize the role of the individual perceiver of firm behavior in favor of emphasizing such broader social structures as value systems, institutions, and stakeholder relations, our focus is on how the social reality of external expectations for social responsibility is rooted in the perceptions of the beholder. We draw on attribution theory to describe how attributions of irresponsibility stem from the observer’s subjective assessments of effect undesirability, corporate culpability, and affected party noncomplicity. We describe how those assessments affect each other and how they are influenced by the observer’s perceptions of effect and firm characteristics and by the observer’s social identification with the affected party or the implicated corporation. We conclude by describing the important role of frames on irresponsibility attributions.…

Corporate social responsibility is considering the impact of the company’s actions on society. There are 4 components of CSR such as economic, legal, ethical and philanthropic responsibilities. For IKEA, they are using more philanthropic responsibilities in their organization which is being a good corporate citizen and providing programs to support community – education, human services/health and culture. There are millions of refugee children without a safe place to call home. There are millions of children being used for labour instead of going to school. There are women and girls that cannot unleash their potential in life simply because they are female. The IKEA FOUNDATION is always creates better opportunities for them. But they cannot do it in their own. Every day, together with their partners IKEA helps children in need to strengthen their opportunities. Their partners are UNICEF, the UN Refugee Agency, UNDP, Save the Children and so many other agencies. For example, they are using solar power to create a better shelter, so refugee families can read, write and cook, even at night. And they look to big organizations to get these solutions out to the many people. The trend of taking into consideration the elements of CSR in Russia could be compared with the Soviet times, when all the companies tried to establish only the CSR programs in a social and cultural environment. The Russian companies see CSR programs focusing only on the group of stakeholders and especially on internal environment-on the workers and mostly all the companies follow as soon as possible to report all their activities in front of the main stakeholder - state. In order to analyze the CSR issues and implementing of them into activities was chosen "Gazprom" the Russian Gas producer company. The company was created in 1989 when the Ministry of Gas Industry and Energy transformed the Gazprom into a corporation. The company later made the privatization, but mostly the Russian state or Government controls all the assets of company. In order to describe the Gazprom CSR programs must be taken into consideration the whole image of CSR in Russia and in what environment the companies' works.…
