Critiquing A Nursing Article
After searching the internet for quite some time, I finally stumbled across an article that captured my attention and that I knew was the article I wanted to use for this assignment. I decided this article was representative because it had met all the standards I had set for the article I was looking for. This article talks about an individual’s personal beliefs on what being a nurse means to them. I wanted to find an article that expressed ones love and their desire to be in the nursing field, and after reading this article I think it fit my criteria perfectly. I know that it is a reliable source because the article is from the Journal of Undergraduate Nursing Scholarship, it was written by a nurse, and I found it on scholarly website with an edu domain name, a domain name that is limited to U.S. postsecondary institutions that are accredited. …show more content…

    In order to define a personal philosophy of nursing, it is very important to understand the meaning of the term “philosophy”.
