Approximately 200 years ago there was a war that happened between Roke and Nitraria. A 13 year old boy called Rogue Hone lived in the Savannah Plains. He had flowy brown hair and always wore a dreamy blue scarf. His hazel eyes always turned bright blue when he used his telekinesis abilities. He was one of the few who knew flying enchantments. Rogue had a sister called Lilliana. She was a necromancer that brought back the dead. Her enchanted swamp always seems to weigh Rogue down every time he flew over it.

One day Rogue was roused from a beautiful dream. There were swords clashing outside, and the screams of women and children were a terrible indicator. Rogue peeked out of the window. There were inferno beams shooting everywhere, meteors showered from the sky and exploded into hot magma. Children were running while getting pummeled down by spells. Houses were burned down by hell fire not extinguishable by water. War has started with Roke and Nitraria. There was no way Roke could win. Nitraria had the Royce Sword, the ancient artifact that let armies to win any attack. The ancient artifact the Trinity Shield that was blocking Nitraria out has been stolen. Rogue had to find the shield fast.

My division was stationed in Normandy, France, at the time of the Allied invasion on June 6, 1944. Toward the end of August or early September, Canadian troops captured me near Dieppe.10 I was with a small group of men who were cut off from our main company and overrun by motorized Allied units. For several days we wandered around searching for our unit, until one night we strayed into a field camp of Canadian soldiers. You can well imagine the astonishment all around when we suddenly appeared in their midst. The Canadians didn’t have a guard posted. This was probably better for all because otherwise we might have exchanged gunfire. Instead, we peacefully turned over our weapons and in return received cigarettes.…

They asked for a volunteer to perform the task, and I gladly accepted.” Standing too far away for his daggers to be effective, although easily remedied very quickly, Nightburn could only smile and laugh at this simplistic attempt on his life. Why he felt so confident, he could not answer, but he knew if the man approached him, the man would die. Agitated by Nightburn’s demeanor, the man stepped forward, daggers raised. Instinctively raising his hand, everything froze, and totally incognizant of how he accomplished such a feat. Rising from his chair, he walked around the room and observed that nothing moved, even the flames of the oil lamps stood perfectly still. He walked to the door and opened it to see Sara stopped in mid-stride halfway down the corridor, then turned back to his room, noticing the clock pendulum had also stopped in mid-swing. Most curious, he thought, time had stopped and he didn’t know how he had achieved this or how he would correct it. Walking over to the would-be assassin, he studied his armor more closely, certain that he had not seen the emblem he wore or the knight in the castle before tonight as he carefully removed the daggers from his hands. With a swift slash to the neck, he ended his life, although no blood flowed from his wound nor did he fall or feel the fatal…

In the kingdom of Abrium, there was a rare magical stone capable of doing almost anything, which included destroying the world. One moonless and cloudy night the notorious red furred, Felinae or werecat, Red Fur the Thief rode on his grey dragon named Chompy the Dragon to the colossal castle where the stone was being held. After he arrived, he dropped down onto the cold, grey castle wall, crept past the guards, and found the crimson red stone displayed in the center of a magnificent room, all while Chompy the Dragon circled silently overhead. Next, Red Fur the Thief quickly removed the stone and placed it in his worn bag. He then carefully and quietly made his way out of the palace, but Red Fur the Thief was spotted as he was mounting Chompy the Dragon. The throbbing bass of the brothel's sound show roared through Rulagh's bones along with the pulsing lights above the mating rooms. Acrid stim-smoke saturated the air and made his eyes water. A holographic display of a high caste whore filled the ceiling. The crest on her scalp had darkened to a shade of red-black that matched the distended nipples of her scaled breasts. Rulagh flicked his tongue out. The display's pheromonal musk tasted stale.…

What Banner had said, what he had revealed, didn’t register until Loki spoke. Until he put two and two together. Unlike the magician’s placid exterior, the scientist revealed the wild storm raving inside in an exasperated jab against the graffiti, hard steel. The fresh onslaught of pain jolted the idle beast inside with an increased heart-rate, but coming to his feet still in his own flesh, his own mind or what he thought, the human began to pace. He’d be lying to himself if he thought the pain hurt, if it mattered, the truth was, however, he felt nothing – physical pain losing its meaning a long time ago, along with his humanity.…
