Creative Writing: Soilar Kingdom
It was a normal day. I was learning in my class. Then, it happened.

You have been summoned by: Soilar Kingdom As the message appears, everything became black. I feel tired, I want to close my eyes. But I can't! 'This event is too interesting to miss! I need to watch it until the very end!' However, there is nothing but that message. I keep staring at it, ignoring the pitch black space surrounding me. After an unknown amount of time, there is light with a blue circle in the middle. I turned my attention to the light and the circle. 'It's too bright!' I blocked my eyes with my hands. Between the gaps, I see my classmates. They are all floating while sleeping and being pulled into the shining blue circle. And I just realized it.

AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!' Right now, I am screaming with all my might in my heart. If only I can open my mouth, I am sure that I would scream an unearthly scream. I feel as if my eyes are burned. 'Reincarnate, eh? Yes, of course.' The moment I am thinking to select 'Yes', a new window appeared. Confirmed 'Did it just read MY mind? But how?' However, my question doesn't find it's answer. As a new window appeared, again. Please choose your race 'Dungeon!' Is what appeared in my mind immediately. And with it, my vision become black and my mind goes

I tried to open my eyes but all I could see was darkness. All around me darkness sits, still and quiet. I heard a creak, then a minuscule and weak voice talked, “Sydney, are you alright?” “Mmm” was all I could get out of my weak and tired body. Then the voice talked to me again, “Sydney, this is Dad speaking. The doctor just told me that the impact of you hitting the seat in front of you was very hard, it blinded you for life.” Darkness grabbed me, never letting me be perky and happy again…

I screamed and screamed for them to stop. I tore at my skin, trying to cover it in blood. Red! I needed to be red. I knew they couldn’t take that away. My fingernails sliced into my neck, my ankles. I bit my tongue and threw myself at the wall. A trickle of blood raced down my forehead and around my eye, eager to join the pool at my feet. The whispers enjoyed this. They didn’t care about taking my hair anymore. They wanted me to do the job myself – wanted me to disappear.…

We hit a clearing and drop, the world spinning around us, soft grass comforting our throbbing body, the smell. The smell, what is it? It’s new and fresh. We close our eyes and relax, as it seems for the first time in our life, we are completely at peace. Before we know it, its…

A poem, like all other works of art, may appear as an inter-subjective truth, an intricate thread of images, a surreal yet realistic expression, and as a "creative fact" according to Virginia Woolf. In canon literature, a good poem is usually that which has fine structure, imagery, meaning and relevance; an art, which has sprung out not only of personal necessities but out of socio-cultural quagmires. Paul Simon's The Sound of Silence transcends the mediocre. It creates a bombarding mood that runs through the whole text, thus, transforming the readers to a reality it is presenting.…
