Before sexual intercourse can even happen, a male and a female must catch sight of one another and either notice something desirable, or just have the need to mate. This most likely starts with a look, a touch, or a kiss and ends with the wish of longing, of being together in the most intense way two creatures can be together. Though still before intercourse, there comes this excitement between the two. This causes blood to start flowing to the lower parts of the male and female’s bodies. Within the male, this causes an erection. An erection happens when blood enters the cylinders within the penis that allow it to stand and stiffen; the scrotum that holds the testicles start to swell as well. Within the female, this causes swelling and lubrication of the vulva (including the clitoris) to begin. This causes the inner vaginal lips to become inflated with blood and the sphincters to tighten. The breasts begin to tighten, enlarge, and the nipples harden. All of this arousal causes both parties to take on a reddish flush; both also begin to breathe harder and louder (some call this “panting”). This is the beginning of a male and female getting ready to engage in sexual intercourse. In this phase of coitus, the male takes his penis and slowly presses his penis into the female’s vagina (Rathus, 2005).…

Therefore, even in a world without human bodies, “technological things will be gendered and there will still be a patriarchal hierarchy” (Springer 1999, 48). As a result, medical discourse, in particular, has constructed negative notions of the female body and sexuality. For example, in the article The Aggressive Egg, the author describes the studies of a researcher by the name of Emily Martin, who has spent the past seven years examining the metaphors used to describe fertilization. Martin’s studies revealed the traditional ideas of fertilization, which portrays a “sperm as an intrepid warrior battling their way to an aging, passive egg that can do little but await the sturdy victor’s final” (Freedman 1992, 2), instead the process turned out to be quite the opposite. “In fact, biologists could have figured out a hundred years ago that sperms are weak forward-propulsion units, but it’s hard for men to accept the idea that sperm are best at escaping” (Freedman 1992,…

Rule Two: Intimacy. Fellas, don’t we like it when girls do things a little different than say the girl prior? So why wouldn’t we think they would like the same? We brag to our friends (most times in exaggeration) about our one special move that “gets the girls off.” You know, that move a girl taught you about what she likes when you were nineteen and now your thirty. Know your woman. And if you don’t know (like a lot of us men out there who are to self-involved to even know if his women’s into it or not), then ask! Ask what she likes, ask what you could do better, do longer, or more often. Now women, if you have been with this guy for some time and asking never even crossed his mind or he seems very disinterested in your sexual needs… you might…

In this day of age, many people take "love" for granted, and let alone, take sex for granted. Sex is an emotionally attaching bond in which women are provided a fulfillment in which they feel loved. This is the value that Dawn Eden vividly expresses and argues in "Casual Sex is a Con: Women Just Aren't like Men." Eden feels that unfulfilled need and emptiness as a result of casual sex and untrue love. Her basis for argument is not so much that women can't "shag" like men, but that women should not try to due to its harmful, emotional consequences. Eden strives to convince women, through her own trials and tribulations, that sex is worth the wait and not worth the pain…

One of the greatest mysteries in human biology is that of the female orgasm; and like any mystery, humans want to solve it. However, what happens if there is nothing to solve? Some scientists believe that the female orgasm has a purpose, that is, it evolved for some adaptive function. Other scientists stress that there does not need to be a purpose to the female orgasm; it is simply a byproduct, or a spandrel, resulting as an indirect consequence of selection on something else (in this case, the male orgasm). This paper will incorporate the anti‐adaptationist ideas from Gould & Lewontin’s article, “The spandrels…

Women know exactly how to turn on a man. They know how to turn them on by manipulating this hardwired “quirk” that absolves them of the need to actually know anything about a woman. This means that the women start acting sexy but acting distant at the same time. They do things that they know will make the man want to see what they really can do once they are able to take the woman’s clothes. The women know what they be doing when the start teasing the guy by slowly taking off her clothes and a sexy dance with it. The women know most of the times that they don’t really want to have sex with the man so she will play with his emotions until she gets tired of doing that or until she take it too far and wants to have sex for real with…

    Sex Positions

Sex positions are positions which people may adopt during or for the purpose of sexual intercourse or other sexual activities. Sexual acts are generally described by the positions the participants adopt in order to perform those acts. Though sexual intercourse generally involves the sexual penetration of the body of one person by another, or the stimulation of the sex organ of one by another, a sex position may not necessarily involve penetration or direct stimulation. Three categories of intercourse are commonly practiced: vaginal intercourse, involving vaginal penetration by the penis; oral intercourse, involving oral caress of the penis or vagina with a partner's mouth; and anal intercourse, involving insertion of the male's penis into a partner's anus.[1] Sex acts may involve the use of fingers or hands or mutual masturbation such as grasping the man's penis or testicles and rubbing them around. There are numerous sex positions which the participants may adopt in any of these types of sexual intercourse or acts, creating an almost limitless number of sex positions. This list is based on Alfred Kinsey six primary positions as categories.[2] Other forms of genital stimulation include (solo or mutual) masturbation, which may involve penetration by the use of fingers or hands, or by a device (sex toy) such as a dildo or vibrator.…
