The first gatekeeper interview was conducted with Ruthie Hill, works for the unemployment office in Tarrant County for more than 20 years. She was chosen as a gatekeeper because she has been involved in Tarrant County for 30 years and has work within the unemployment office. Mrs. Hills says some of the health needs in Tarrant is better health care, more programs help with loss, and cancer treatment and screening. Mrs. Hill and her daughter was both diagnosed with breast cancers, and says some of the health concerns are diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer, and heart disease. Mrs. Hill says that obesity is one of the causes of why people suffer from diabetes and heart disease. Mrs. Hills says that someone of the people who come to her offices is obesity because they do not have the money to eat fresh fruit or vegetables.
