Opening paragraph:

I am delighted to submit my application for the Spanish Language Editor position advertised in Craig List Jobs website. I am bilingual native of Guadalajara in Mexico and in the Evening, I am currently in the Computing Software and Systems Program at The University of Washington Bothell. I am eager to work in an industry that encompasses interests that I enjoy such as my passion towards learning languages, playing creative video games that display artistic and colorful designs and dealing with challenges in problem solving.

2nd paragraph:
Tell why you are interested in the employer or type of work the employer does. Demonstrate that you know enough about the employer or position to relate your background to the employer or position. Mention specific qualifications which make you a good fit for the employer’s needs. This is an opportunity to explain in more detail relevant items in your resume. I am interested in this position because for the past years in my Spanish group, I have frequently helped students with appropriate English-Spanish written translations and interpretations and I have truly enjoyed. In my BA program I have learned C++ computer language, so I am confident I will be able to master HTML through self-study. Through past working, academic and self-learning experiences, I have demonstrated to be an excellent communicator, detailed oriented, and a quick learner. I am also very interested in working for a company such as Big Fish Games which values encompasses working with people from diverse backgrounds such as nationalities, ages and interests, who shares a passion for taking challenges and solving difficult problems to provide joy in discovery through exciting and diverse creative video games that involved the communication of different languages, art and self-expression as an entertainment.

Indicate that you would like the opportunity to interview for a position or to talk with the employer to learn more about their opportunities or hiring plans.
