"Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear - not absence of fear." - Mark Twain
This quote by Mark Twain can be applied to everyone. Every single person in the world has experienced fear before because it is human nature to be afraid in certain situations. Many people have heard about people who have courage and it is assumed that courage is the "absence of fear" but no one is absent of fear. Courage is the ability to control fear when it arrives. People with courage are always ready to deal with fear. They also realize that fear does not really exist; fear is a figment of imagination. Twain is saying that courage can be obtained by anyone if they understand that fear is only an idea in the mind. Fear comes from an idea that the mind draws
