Courage In Gymnastics
Courage is defined as possessing or characterized by courage; brave. I think I am courageous because I do gymnastics. You have to be very brave to go onto a beam the is only 4 inches wide. Also to do all the flips, the people in the olympics make it look so easy but it is not easy to just jump and twist and hope you land it perfectly. Next is all the injuries. Gymnastics is easily one of the most dangerous sports. In the Olympics a male gymnast broke his shin because he landed wrong. You have to be pretty brave to even do a back handspring which is one of the basic skills in gymnastics. You have to trust yourself and if you don't, then you are not very brave or courageous. I trust myself so that is why I think I am courageous.
