"Courage is measured by an individual's willingness to continue fighting even when the likelihood of victory is small." This quote means that although you may not win, courage is when you try anyway. It means that if you try to succeed knowing that you have am unfavorable chance of victory that it may still be to your benefit, or an others benefit. Courage is a quality that is good to possess, because it means you don't give up on something that is a challenge. By definition courage means a quality of spirit that enables you to face danger or pain without showing fear, or it can also mean the strength to face danger or take on challenges.
