Counselling's Arguments Against Abortion
When an unrecognised or unacknowledged action or course of behaviour prevents a client from carrying on or prevents a counsellor from recognising client’s feelings because they are closely related to their own experiences, e.g. If the counsellor is against abortion and his or her client is undertaking counselling due to having an abortion. This could act as a block in the counselling relationship. The counsellor should not allow his or her feelings/opinions about abortion to interfere in the counselling

    Abortion is the medical removal or termination of a fetus from a woman’s womb.
