Counseling Theory And Analysis

The reason I am in this class is to learn and gain knowledge about the many theories when it comes to psychology and how to apply that to the clients I come across. My goal for understanding the theories is able to apply them in my counseling field and get into more detail in a sense. There are many counseling theories that might benefit and help an individual. In my current job, I deal with multiple clients that have mental disorders, they range from social anxiety to substance abuse. Learning these counseling theories will help me better to communicate to them how to cope with the issues and struggles that is currently in front of them.
