Cordelia

Seals look a lot like dogs but why? This tale starts with Cordelia, a young water nymph with has coral pink hair and sky blue eyes. Cordelia loved to explore towns and forests that were on the coast of the Aegean Sea. One day she came across a dog and thought that an animal like that would be a nice pet. Soon after Cordelia got a dog and brought it to the beach and discovered that the dog could not live in water. After releasing the animal the nymph traveled through the ocean to find Poseidon, the god of the sea, and ask him to create a dog that could live in the water. Later that day Cordelia arrived at Poseidon’s castle and found her way to the throne room. “Your majesty,” she said bowing while wondering if this was a good idea. Cordelia hesitated a moment then pushed the thought out of her head. “I am Cordelia from the farthest corner of your domain.” “I can sense that you want something from me, young nymph,” said Poseidon,“What is it?” Cordelia stood up, “I would like to ask if you could make a dog that would live in the water… We could call it a seal.” Poseidon looked at her like it was the most ridiculous idea he had ever
The first to arrive was the twins then a few minutes later Thea arrived too. The group was a strange mix Eira had hair that was platinum blonde and eyes the color of storm clouds, --- had red hair and eyes the color of coal, and Thea had brown hair and emerald green eyes. After explaining what they were doing Cordelia formed a seal out of water and Eira froze it. Before the ice seal could melt Thea gave it life and --- gave it warmth. Once the seal was alive the group pushed it into the water and watched it swim around. An hour later sky clouded over and the water receded to reveal an angry sea god
