Cops Causing Wrongful Deaths
I do feel that the cops causing wrongful deaths to not only African American kids, men and women but ALL people should be punished. We should not feel that it is okay to kill each and every cop that we see. It is not okay to teach our kids if a cop pulls them over they should act out of character or kill the cop before they are killed. Have we failed to realize that these cops are often fathers and someone's son? To the cops that's causing wrongful deaths, have you failed to realized that you may have possibly murdered a child/children father and someone's son? Violence is not going to solve anything that's going on in this world. If officers decided to give up there occupation who would protect your family? If we did not have local authorities

    It is getting more and more popular especially to African Americans, and more specifically African American males. It is making the world and community a more dangerous place than it already is. It is making this society a very destructive and violent place. In order to stop the violence there has to be some leadership and control. As Dr. Martin Luther King Jr said, “Oppressed people cannot remain oppressed forever. The urge for freedom will eventually come” (5). Getting assaulted by a police officer should never be understood or viewed as okay. Although racism and discrimination may completely be gone, it can reduce if there were more leaders. Harmon argues that “defensive force justification defenses arise when individuals threaten interests that are weighty enough to justify protection” (1147). Harmon always justifies that “the common law connection between justification defenses and police use of force may not be surprising in light of the development of law enforcement in the country” (1149). In other words this means that when someone speaks out and decides to have a voice about needing protection they will not stop until they get what they need. In this case, they get all the resources they need in order to get justice. Police brutality is not right and is making this society weak.     Ever wonder if police officers know what its like to be a citizen under jurisdiction, with the same sense of distrust and sense of unfaithfulness in the individuals who are supposed to protect? People must also realize that citizens will never know what it is like to be police officers. They take too much crap from people who don't appreciate their services. Police officers also have their personal lives to worry about. That is stress that a lot can't understand, let alone coupe with.
