As the writers said “Find the way to ‘get motivated’” (Moore, Baker, Packer,39). I think writers means that you should inspired yourself and find some reasons for yourself to do your work. In my perspective, we can tell ourselves some benefit if I can have done this work. For example, in my college life we also have lots of homework need to do, but most of time I do my homework before due time only few hours. Therefore, sometimes I cannot do my homework. If I can inspire myself do homework few days before due day, which I think I can get good job. Just like writers said when you feel you are procrastination, think about the benefit if you can finish work. You can get some motivation to do it. Overall, as far as I concerned that writers’ ways to solve procrastination are good for these people. You can find the reason why you are a procrastination person, and use writers’ ways to solve it that you can become a better

Procrastination has become such a bad habit for me. It is hard for me to stop procrastinating. I believe I do my best writing at the last minute. I usually wait until the night before to do most of it. I am usually up late the night before the paper is due. Having things due dates has kept me on task, and keeps me from procrastinating until the day before the paper is due. There was one paper which we had to get sources for a while before the paper was due and it forced me to keep up with the paper, rather than let it go to the last minute. This class has taught me that the earlier you start the more positive your result will be. That was my mistake with the argumentative paper.…

Procrastination is one of the biggest reasons that a student does not have good academic success. Procrastination is defined as putting a certain task off until a certain deadline arrives. Such as, if a student has to have a report or speech done by a certain date and has known for three weeks but delays in getting it done until the day before it is due. Doing this usually results in a bad grade for that paper, which could bring the student’s overall grade down to not passing. In my own experience with this problem, I have found it is easier to just do the work after you find out it is due rather than waiting until the last day. Such as, I had a buddy in high school that would hear about the assignment and would delay in getting it done till the day it was due. Yet, he would complain that he never had enough time to do the work required to complete the assignment.…

Most of the time procrastination isn’t always a bad thing. It could be good if you use your time wisely and think of good ideas. But on the other hand, it could be bad because, if you just sit around and do absolutely nothing. If you manage your time carefully, you would get done a lot faster and easier. As said in sentence 8, “Dr. Perry generously acknowledges that he has stood on the shoulders of iants, in particular Robert Benchley , the Algonquin Round Table Member. In 1930, Benchley revealed how he mustered the willpower to pore through scientific magazines and build a bookshelf when an article was due.”…

I would say that I do not procrastinate in my everyday life; I was only procrastinating about going to school to chase my dreams. The one way I avoid procrastination is a saying I use in my house on a daily basis, “do it now”. I teach my children to do whatever it is to do it now and not wait to do it. Waiting to me is a waste of time. I like to get all my things tended to and taken care of. Some examples I can use to stop procrastination is, don’t make an excuse why you should wait to do something, do it now. Don’t try to get out of doing something, do it now. Don’t try to get someone else to help you or do it for you, just do it now.…

A solution for this problem of procrastination Dr. Berkman suggests that you should change the way you value things. I’ve overcome procrastination because instead of staying on the couch and not doing the dishes I stand and actually do them, and to be honest it felt good because I don’t have to do it later like the author said in the article because it's worse in our future because the dishes might pile up even more or you can get in trouble for not getting up and doing it right away overall I think I have overcome procrastination so far. What helped be successful on facing procrastination is actually wanting on doing it and there's not wanting to get in trouble. Procrastination is what drives people from their work, study, and even determination. Focus is what is needed in everyday lives, and though it is tempting to "delay" what is needed to be done, no excuse is worth it so instead of just “delaying it” just do…

It’s explained in the first chapter why people procrastinate: vagueness, confusion, and fuzzy-mindedness about what they are trying to accomplish and in what order they should go about tackling it. People need to make list of what they need to accomplish for the day. It could be each night planning for the next day or early in the morning planning for the day ahead of you. Either option is a start. By writing down your list of things to do, you’re able to see your…

“There's nothing wrong with procrastination. Or is there? I'll leave it to you to decide, but only if you have the time.”- Craig Brown. Procrastinating plays a role in someone’s life. It is something that we all as humans try to overcome, but in reality, it is something that will impact us in some way, at any cost. Procrastination is a habit of putting off a task until a later time what could or should have been done at that time. It’s a tormenting weakness I’m struggling with and it’s keeping me back from being successful. It’s like an virus eating up my body infecting various parts of my life.…
