Continue Scenarios: Linear Technique
Hold up Scenarios

Scenario 1 Scenario 1) Player 'A' grabs Player 'B's shoulder and places a knife in his midsection in an attempt to rob him.

Player 'B' hollows out his midsection while simultaneously bringing his hands straight up and catching his weapons hand in the web of both hands and shifting to his right.

From here 'B' will quickly apply a wrist flex. Most people teach it the way shown here using both thumbs, but that is not the best way to apply this technique..........

If you try using your left thumb and place the palm of your right hand on the back of his hand and fingers while pushing at a 45 degree angle I think that you will find that you are able to apply much more pressure and pain to your partner.

Quickly thrust your right forearm back and jam the knife into his midsection

While using the forearm to keep the knife in place you quickly grab his hand and pull it free

Now you can either grab the knife with either hand or continue with a wrist flex to take him to the ground.

Scenario 5 Scenario 5) Same scenario as #4 except that this time the blade of the knife is in front of your arm

Twisting to the left, you use your left hand to grab and push his hand into his midsection. Your right arm will slide past the blade as you twist and yes, you may get cut.

Press the knife to his body with your free hand and pull the hand holding the weapon away.

Grab the knife and cut to the midsection.

Scenario 6 Scenario 6) Again from behind with the knife to the side of your throat (note that there is a large gap between your bodies)

Quickly turn to the right bringing your right arm up and behind. You should also step out with your left foot to move yourself away from the knife.

Scoop the arm down in a clockwise manner and grabbing the thumb (gatekeeper) use the underhand disarm practiced
