Facilitate Client Learning
Consultant have to develop an effective and sound design on how to conduct the project such as develop a suitable solution for the problem that faced by the client. Consultant should facilitate the learning by including all the client’s employees of the organization to take part in this project. Consultant should consistently involve in coaching and training that have been conducted for the client’s employee and during the training the consultant should able to deliver the instruction clearly to the client’s employees on how to operate well the machine. The consultant should be well preparing on their on-call duties and set a priority in their time management for the project. They should well prepare for predictable emergency work from the project that they manage such as for administration matter and issue that arise from the client’s employees because there’s no limit time amount of predictable on call duties. They also must well prepare for the unpredictable no call duties which also may happen during the whole process of the project. For example, the consultant may have predictable on call duties if the instructor suddenly unable to conduct the training and go for compasionate leave, the consultant must immediately find replacement for the new instructor to conduct the training. The good relationship with the client will help the consultant to strengthen their commitment for the client’s project. The consultant also must have strong commitment in responsible for all the interview, focus group, and conduct survey throughout the process of the proposal for example the consultant will conduct a survey for the foreign worker to analyze the real problem that cause the communication barrier for them in workplace. The survey will give the consultant o better understanding regarding the problem issued by their client. The consultant has to identify which related aspects of the client’s business are not going well where this is very important to take into consideration before develop the key solution . For example, the client’s business might face financial downturn where it may affect the key solution development for the consultant because some solution method might occur high in cost and the company will not afford for it.
