Constanci's Abuela Invents The Zero

What would you do if your own family member treated you like a dog, like an animal? What would you do if someone spoke to you like one or mistreated you? Or if your own son that is 7 years old was smoking and stealing from you? How would that make you feel? Well that is exactly what happened in these two stories. Both of the artists in the stories I picked have the same type of character. Both characters do not understand what they’re doing wrong until the end of the stories. In the story “Abuela Invents The Zero” a young girl named Constanci lives in the US. Constancias grandmother is coming to visit her in the US. Her grandmother has only seen Constancia twice in her lifetime. But The two do not have a good relationship. As shown when the two walk to church and Constancia states “ I try to stay away from her so no one knows i'm with her”. This states that contact is embarrassed about or around her grandmother. I don't think that constancia understands that you should not be embarrassed around your family members and what you say can affect people.

For my other story I picked “ Home”. In this story a father named Yevgeny find out that his 7 year old son seroza is stealing from him and smoking. Yevgeny tries helping and talking to his son to stop and to see if he will
First values are what people think of you. Constancia must have bad values now that she has been treating her grandmother badly. This makes her grandmother dislike her and not want to talk to her. This will make them awkward around each other. The worst thing is that they are family. You do not treat family members like that. I think Constancia should think before she says things and know how it makes people feel. Now with Seroza. Thence he smoked when he was 7, he will have a bad impression on him.And kids will label him as the smoker kid. I think that he does not know that it is bad because he does not know what it is and his dad has not really accused him of
