I read that, George tells lennie to jump in the river and lennie jumps in. he almost died and so george never played another joke on him again.
When everyone wanted to kill lennie George did this, George shoots lennie in the back of the head. Oof.
At that point George made a big choice that made him longer because he shot his best friend.
Next thing that happens is the story about dominic.
The story about dominic is very tragic and made him scared for life.
The boy had to kill his neighbors or have the other tribe kill him.
Other people had this same problem but dominic was a survivor of the tribe as other kids didn't make it
Dominic had to choose to run away and hide or he could have stayed with the tribe.
