Conflict Resolution In Criminal Justice Organizations
Conflict in theory relates to the functions of an organization where each individual within the group struggles to reach the maximum goal of the organization. However, conflict is able to be resolved and understood in criminal justice organizations through many forms of resolution. In order to have a full understanding of conflict criminal justice organizations must explore the disagreements that are causing the conflicts. For example, if the correction officers agree that the care and treatment of inmates is the primary goal of the institution and the supervisor disagrees and feels that the security of the staff is the primary goal, this is often a precursor to conflict.
This essay will attempt to discuss history of conflict and the ways to minimize it with outside resources such as community partner and public officials as well as the beneficial innovative responses to suppress crime and investigation
