Conflict brings out the best and worst in people
The primal urge for self preservation is often linked to an array of emotions and thoughts, each juxtaposed in the aspect of good and evil. The subjectivity of these often conservative and radical actions, as individuals’ enter an increasingly volatile era of insecurity and hardship. From the ambitious endeavor of Pyle we catch a glimpse into the many intricacies of the human psyche and how it is affected by the advance of conflict in its many horrors. Conflict brings out the indoctrinations of modern society. Given the state of conflict, individuals must perform the unthinkable in order to survive through hardship. Ordinary individuals in times of crisis are converted through conflict, being forced into situations that could cause immense mental physical harm to other person, with their own interest of self-preservation. After the ordeal a piece of their humanity has been forever tainted as they must live everyday of their lives, forever haunted by their own mistakes and actions.
