Confirming And Disconfirming Communicat
Confirming and disconfirming communication. 1. Husband and wife. I am the wife and he is my husband.
2. My husband is the sender of the communication.
3. My husband said” I will always and forever love you in this world and the next. I will keep the love and chemistry between us alive and full of hope and energy like the first day we met. Every couple will have their good and bad moments like teeth which sometimes bites on the tongue but I will always respect, understand and be with you. I will give you hand when you need support and shoulder to lean on when you feel lonely or sick. No one can buy happiness but I will eliminate all the negative and doubtful things from our lives. I will feed you with soft spoken words and nourish you with my gentle touch. If all these things fail and you decide to replace me I will quietly fulfill your wish but I will be living with you in my dreams and your name will be tattooed in my heart. I love you for the moment and I shall love you more and more in the future.
4. What my lovely husband said to me was confirming because I recognized, acknowledged and endorsed thus making it confirming communication.

The Cranor Corporation suffered $10 million in expenses linked to a product recall. The company had endured product recalls in the past and they still occur in the business. To show revenue from continuing operations, Jim Dietz, the controller, wishes to describe the $10 million as an extraordinary loss, instead of an expense included in operating income. He states to the CEO that the company has never had a product recall of this size and that the corporation fixed the design flaw and improved quality control. The drawback is, in order for Jim to categorize the loss as an extraordinary item, he must view that the losses in the company’s financial statements are infrequent and unusual. He must also presume this event is not likely to occur again in the future profitability. (Spiceland, Sepe, & Nelson, 2013, p. 188)…

It I so amazing that you have decided to become husband and wife. Thank you so much for allowing me to give you advice on communicating with each other. You can learn so many interpersonal communication skills but if you do not apply them to your marriage then you might end up getting a divorce. “There are many interpersonal communication skills that will help couples to communicate effectively (Sole, 2011)”. In order for you to understand communication skills and be able to apply them in your marriage, I will only focus on five of them. “Effective communication skills enable a couple to express their thoughts and feelings, they are able to effectively listen to their spouse, as well as knowing that that they are being heard and understood (Sole, 2011)”. Disconfirming communication dismisses the value of a person; while confirming messages communicates that the message exists. In confirming messages, the message is significant to the speaker; and the speaker is seen valuable as an interaction partner. Confirming communication refers to the three positive types of messages that have the best chance of being perceived as confirming: recognition, acknowledging the ideas and feelings of others, and lastly there is endorsement, which means you agree with the speaker and is the highest form of confirming. In disconfirming, the individual isn’t seen as important enough to be taken seriously or engage with in an honest and straightforward way. There are three types of disconfirming messages, (1) disconfirming by indifference to the other, (2) disconfirming by imperviousness, and then (3) disconfirming by disqualification.…
