Capstone Project Title Computerized Enrollment System for Sto. Niño Academy
Broad and Specific Areas or Type of Investigation The proposed system (A Computerized Enrollment System for Sto. Niño Academy) is a Computer Based System under the category of Enrollment System (ES). Currently, Sto. Niño Academy is utilizing manual system in processing students’ transactions during enrollment.
The study aims to provide solutions to these problems that the school is experiencing every enrollment period, like the manual assessment and computation of students’ tuition fees, the manual searching and preparing of students’ academic records, security of the students’ records and the slow process of report generation.
In order for the proponents to gain deeper knowledge about the system under study, the proponents conducted interviews, distributed questionnaires, and research which will enable them to build the computerized system. In addition, the proponents also used the power of the Internet as a search engine for topics regarding concepts and theories necessary to develop a Computerized Enrollment System.
The proponents strongly believe that if the system will be implemented, it will significantly improve and solve all the problems that are currently encountered in the enrollment system.
