Management Aspects

History Internet Cafes Started out in the late 1990’s as LAN Shops – a center in which computers are now networked in order to play LAN Games. Internet connection then was dial up and expensive therefor only a few shops offered internet service. The bulk of their service back then was gaming and typing service for students.

Introduction

A "Computer Shop" is the Pinoy slang terms for an internet café. Computer shops are rapidly spreading throughout the Philippines, so long as they are in demand. Computer shop business is one of the most in demand businesses here in Makati. Nowadays, internet cafes are really in demand because of the fast changing technology that the people embraced just like here in the Philippines. Some have their own laptops and bring it to coffee shops so that they could relax and at the same time prepare their assignments and paper works. The people today are very busy and would want to do their jobs in a beautiful and innovative environment that could satisfy their needs and lessen their stress due to busy schedule.

Nature of Business

First thing, an Internet shop, computer shop or cybercafe is a place where one can use a computer with Internet access, usually charged per hour or minute and sometimes one can have unmetered access with a pass for a day or month. “LomiBells and HannaBells Computer Shop” will provide service and entertainment to others around the vicinity of University of Makati.

Kind of Business

The proposed name of the firm is “LomiBells and HannaBells Computer Shop”. The owner will register the firm with the Department
