Executive Summary As our True Faith Alliance Church has been growing spiritually and physically in size ever slowly, our committee of Church Growth Committee (CGC) would like to have our True Faith Alliance Church to get improved spiritually and physically. CGC would like to propose to get the approval to evaluate our church activities and church programs and CGC may request to evaluate other big churches to evaluate what made them grow and CGD would like to bring the healthy church growth programs to our True Faith Alliance Church after CGC has integrated all information. Our goal of evaluating our church and other churches is to reduce negative church activities and church programs and on the other hand our True Faith Alliance Church may be adding new effective church activities and church programs to the church after receiving final evaluation from CGC. CGC believes that it is preventable the cause of church members declining if we can evaluate what is good for the church and what is not good for the church. The goals of evaluation of CGC are to improve our faith, church membership size, and stop whatever is a not biblical by addressing the following goal areas: Goal 1. To make our church members grow spiritually in faith Goal 2. Encourage our congregation to get involved in evangelism more Goal 3. Eliminate church activities and church programs that are not necessary Goal 4. To upgrade our church building to meet the needs of our congregation
The evaluation processes will take a full year cycle to evaluate

When an organization is trying to reorganize and create new programs, they will use an evaluation plan to do this, an evaluation is a very important step in the development and implementation of the organizations program and projects they are trying to develop. It’s important to have a solid foundation to carry out the mission, goals, and the objectives, and it’s also important to have a way to define success and failures through the proper use of evaluation techniques, appropriate reporting, and having the right tools to carry out the programs. It can be challenging for an agency to decide if they should use a process evaluation or an outcome evaluation plan. The main objective of an evaluation technique is to provide for the state the agency is in, tell how – well or how poorly the programs are working, what may need to be done or changed, and how they are keeping up to meet their goals mission, and objectives.…

A church whose pastor and others in leadership have failed to put in place a proactive plan for discipleship for Believers is usually a “growing” church — growing stagnant, growing cold, growing spiritually immature Christians, and eventually, many growing closed. Patte said, “There is much at stake in accepting or rejecting the challenge of discipleship…” When a pastor or a church makes a conscious decision to make discipleship of Believers a primary focus in their church, they need a plan. The pastor can make his own plan, or find one that will fit the personality of the church. Putman, after some time, has come up with five stages and four spheres of discipleship.…

The full inclusion ministry that I am proposing is at the Voorheesville Church of Christ is a local church in my hometown of Voorheesville, New York. The Voorheesville Church was built in the late 1800’s, and was one of the first churches built in the area until the early 1900’s. The church was established by a group of Christians who came together as a small group of believers, which served the LORD through community worship. The group of believers whom established the church worshipped together in a small barn that is right next to the church they had built. Voorheesville is a small community, therefore, the church today consists of believers of all ages, while a great deal of attenders are elderly, their children, and grandchildren. Overall, the church is in a fragile state appearance wise; however, the church is a close knit family who welcomes everyone to attend and…

According to Kenneth Gangel, in his article “The Marks of a Healthy Church,” he seeks to “explain the characteristics of a healthy church using the measurements of the spiritual, biblical, theological, ministry model, and scriptural model of leadership.” To accomplish this Gangel cautions spiritual leaders not to get caught up in measuring church growth in numerical terms. They should accentuate the holiness and sovereignty of God through Bible study, worship, prayer, praise, and fellowship. In following biblical instead of cultural patterns, churches do not feel compelled to stay “up with the times” or get hooked on religious fads and slogans.…

At Justified By Faith Baptist Church in Indianapolis, IN, I, Daniel H. Weems, Sr. serve as an Associate Pastor. We are a new church plant about seventeen months old and have around fifty active members. I have been asked to organize and implement a soul care ministry within the church. My overarching goal for ministry is to restore my fellow man when he is overtaken in a fault (Gal. 6:1), fully knowing that all mankind have missed the mark at times (Rom. 3:23); I do my best to remind…

    Kimball Argument Analysis

I really enjoyed this article. It has been one of my favorites thus far. Kimball had many quality arguments and opinions on what needs to change within the church. His main point of this article is stated on page 86, "I believe true emerging churches must go deep within, and form the inside out, rethink. reshape, and revalue how we are about everything as culture changes. We must rethink leadership, church structure, the role of a pastor, spiritual formation, how community is lived out, how evangelism is done, how we express our worship, etc. It is not about what we do in the worship service, but about everything". I agree with Kimball that the Church still has a lot of growing to do, and trough that growing there must be some changes made along the way. Over the years we have lost our way, and need help guiding us back on the right path.…

It is common to hear and feel a sense of gratitude and positive pride that LBC is an excellent church from both leadership on the platform and the small group settings participant. Any faults that could be found are minor, and pale in comparison to many of the issues that a church could face. LBC is a regional church with multiple campus locations strategically selected for maximum impact to reach Kanas City with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. This as a result of a shared vision and cooperation of the staff, members, and Pastor Steve Dighton’s previous leadership as the founding pastor. LBC is also known as the flagship conservative evangelical church in KC. Despite LBC’s current size it has maintained a small church…
