Compare and Contrast Edmond Dantes and Joseph from the Bible are similar because they both were betrayed. People that Dantes and Joseph thought they could trust were the same people who falsely accused them. They both got everything taken away from them and were both sent to prison. “Dantes was now thirty-three years old, as we have said, and his fourteen years in prison had brought what might be described as a great spiritual change to his features”(Dumas 9).
