Comparison/Contrast Essay I love the game of baseball. Baseball is one of the greatest games to ever be played, that is why people call it “Americas Pastime”. My essay is how baseball and softball are the same, but then again how they differ from each other. Baseball and softball are alike in so many ways. So I will just give you a few examples. One example is that in softball and baseball each team has 9 players. These sports both have the same positions. A second example is that the bat length is about the same, the weight is not the same simply because girls just aren’t as strong as guys are. The bats length is usually around 31-34 inches.
