Comparing The Sound Of Thunder And Being Prey
The text “The Sound of Thunder” and “Being Prey” are alike and different in many ways. The location in The Sound of Thunder takes place in the future. While Being Prey is in the present. The Sound of Thunder is in a pre-historic jungle. In Being Prey it is in Australia in the swamp lands. These are just some examples of the same ways and differences in both text.

In the story’s Being Prey and The Sound of Thunder they are warned of the danger’s possibly ahead. Plumwood is warned not to stand by the water’s edge. Eckels is told not to step off the path. Both disobey what there told and there consequences are deadly. They both learned their lesson after their and saw their mistakes were unwise.
