Comparing The Road Not Taken And Seasons Of Gold
To start off, “The Road Not Taken” and “Seasons of Gold” potray many kinds of ambiguous meanings and symbols. The meaning and symbols of a poem is one the most important key ideas, since it potrays how the author wants you to feel and think while reading the poem. In the text, “The Road Not Taken”, states “ I took the road less traveled by, and that has made all the difference” (Frost 19). This shows the significant meaning of the poem, because it shows how each decision that a person makes can lead onto another road or another situation in life. The other text, “Seasons of Gold”, states “Here’s to the night we’ll always remember”(Claudia Martell, Nevaeh Bruck, Aaron Grant). It tells us that the setting is autumn, because the leaves are changing, and thet the leaves have turned yellow. Without these little descriptive details of the forest and paths , it wouldn’t make sense that the narrator was indecisive about choosing a certain path. To be concise, the part when it says “The sky fills up with April showers”, you can conclude that it is raining which shows imagery since you can conclude the picture of rain in your head.
