Both the reading and the lecture discuss The Copper Scroll. While the passage claims that the hidden treasure stated in the scroll isn’t real, the speaker argues the claim by supporting stance with evidences.
According to the passage, the scroll is just a story from ancient Israel with purpose to entertain people just like others similar traditional stories that were found back then.
